The Peak District National Trust own or manage 13% of the Peak District National Park. The precious countryside that we look after, offers a much needed place to escape, relax and have adventurous days out away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Now more than ever we all need nature but at the same time nature needs us all to care for it. Help us to look after the places we all love by being #peakdistrictproud - take all litter home with you, keep dogs on leads to protect wildlife and livestock, opt for a picnic as BBQs and campfires are not allowed and pose severe fire risks and be kind to others and the landscape. As a conservation charity we rely on the generosity of our supporters to help us look after these beautiful places for wildlife, for people and for future generations to enjoy. You can help support our vital conservation work and help our countryside be better equipped to tackle climate change by searching for our Peak District Appeal. With your help we can secure the future of our woodlands, wildlife, meadows, rivers, rolling hills and dramatic landscapes for years to come - thank you. For more information please visit our three websites by searching Longshaw, Ilam Park and Kinder and Edale. See Less
